Economy & Infrastructure

As a state representative, I would focus on improving broadband services in both rural and urban areas of our district. Broadband internet has become an essential part of modern life, and our residents need access to fast, reliable cellular and internet services for education, public safety, and local economies. If we want local citizens to seek innovative solutions to the challenges we face, we must provide direct access to the global economy as well as educational opportunities from their homes. I would argue, therefore, that we should consider broadband an essential utility, like electricity.  It should be readily available to everyone, not just a luxury reserved for the affluent.
